Absolute scam company. Since November 2019, they've had over 62000 visits to the support page for their broken leapstart3d. They have made no efforts to fix this shoddy device, which even when working, is absolutely moronic in its execution.
Childrens readers do not need forced updates coded into the device - they literally have a point of failure built in. When it does work, these are not updates - they're harvesting information on your childrens' usage of the device, not adding anything. Not that it matters, because your device isn't going to work longer than ~3 weeks anyway.
What sort of childrens toy requires a parental account (more info harvesting), and for the price, doesn't include all the books? This is just a garbage device with real-life microtransactions. There are a multitude of better options; might as well purchase your kid a tablet for less money, and use any of the literally thousands of apps out there which are at least less scammy than leapfrog.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Shame on you! Learn geography first and then put borders of countries on your globe!! Don’t sell this false information to children!!

Downloaded the program. They said a plug-in was needed. Couldn't fine a plug-in except one I could pay for on Amazon. Called technical support. They sent me instructions by e-mail as to how to download it again. It still doesn't work. They did say to call back after that. So I guess they expected it wouldn't work. Been on this or 5 hours with no success. It said Windows defender wouldn't allow the program in. I turned off the firewall and downloaded the program. It still doesn't work.
I returned a faulty child’s telephone to be signed for they are claiming it hasn’t arrived standard reason for not replying too busy , Covid ,this is obviously what they only get one star
I purchased a child’s phone and due to Covid I am unable to get out Tesco where I bought were unable to help so I sent it to HEAD OFFICE by post to be signed for they have sent numerous emails saying it hasn’t been received even a photo of the receipt why bother just won but from them again it’s no wonder they only get one star I wouldn’t give any
The concept of this book is great, however, the touch feature is incredibly sensitive and you must gently touch the picture or the book will recite pictures from previous pages.
Sorry to here this. This is my reply to leapfrog regarding a purchase of two items. One came through in a matter of days and happy however, I needed to send them two emails to chase up the other.
I did send two emails earlier in the month and only now they say it is not available. I had pleny of chances to order this product elsewhere and now none are in stock. It would have been nice to have been told that I have been refunded instead of me having to request where my item is only today.
Afraid to say im not a happy customer and will leave a review so that others are aware.
Do your homework before ordering from Leapfrog.
Leapfrog tablet bought two pieces for son and daughter As gifts. After a month, the touchpad stopped working at all does not react to any movements .Spent more than 100 euros on an APP that is now impossible to play just thrown away money.The quality is worse than that of the Chinese.If I could, I would put -5.
Educational toy for my son, and he loves it!
Part of my son's childhood! He loves the colors, the sound and the structures of the toys he had with Leapfrog! Please continue to make more educational toys.

Questionable toys from California by made by questionable people. Don't recommend, I'm not sure educational material for kids is legitimate...
I accidentally broke the prongs in the charging port on my son's tablet. The company says they can't fix it, it isn't covered under warranty, and I must take it to a 3rd party repair store. Problem is there are no spare parts available for this tablet so its unfixable. I wasted money on both the tablet and repair fees, and all because of a fragile part.
Leapfrog won't even work with me on a discount towards another tablet.
The hardware and software are okay but I can get the same from a Kindle with better customer service. They lost my loyalty.
Very poor support system.i bought certain app from the website, once the payment was made there was no way to download the app onto the gadget. The regional support washed his hands off saying i did not buy the app from him. Preposterous excuse as you can only buy the apps from the website. Well that’s how they know how to cheat. Please don’t waste your money.
